First of all, a huge congratulations to you! I am so honored that you are considering me to be a part of your wedding day.
My name is Klaire, and I am a Fine Art Wedding photographer based right outside of Washington, D.C. Amidst the frenzy of planning your wedding, I hope I can be a resource for you as a member of the wedding industry. I started shooting weddings in college, and quickly fell in love with it – the anticipation of the morning, the vows that will forever tie you to your favorite person, and of course all of the beautiful moments in between. My heart for every client is to serve you in a way that I will not only capture your wedding day, but create an heirloom for you and your family that will remind you of the beautiful way your marriage began for years to come.

1. Albums become family heirlooms. The intention of a well designed and constructed wedding album is to provide a way to preserve cherished photos so that even your grandchildren can witness the beginning of your marriage. My parents have formal portraits of their wedding day, but I wish I could see their day in it’s entirety as it unfolded! This album isn’t just for you, but for future generations to enjoy and relish in.
2. Time. You could most definitely print a wedding album in your free time. Creating an album can be incredibly time consuming, though. So much time is spent between designing it and educating yourself on which printing companies will provide you with an heirloom product. I love serving my clients by providing them with a solution to that problem, so they can simply approve their layout, and then wait for their album to come in the mail. I also love to serve them by educating myself on current top of the line products, so they won’t have to second guess the quality of their album.
3. Images were meant to be in your hands. Wedding day images can be enjoyed via Social Media, your phone lock screen, on your google drive, and the list goes on and on. Unfortunately our current younger generation is the MOST photographed, but LEAST documented in hard copy. Albums help solve that problem!
We firmly believe in providing our clients with services and products that are not only top of the line, but also serve you in your marriage! Wedding albums can be one of several ways to enjoy your images, and in turn remind you of the beautiful way your marriage began.
1. Engagements sessions are a great situation to illustrate your unique story as a couple. When choosing a
location, I normally ask our couples if there is a place most meaningful to their relationship or their story.
For instance, you could choose the location where he proposed, where you frequently went on dates, the
school you went to, or a family owned property. If you need help thinking of a location, we would love to
offer recommendations!
2. Engagement sessions are also a great situation to illustrate your unique style. Feel free to wear outfits that express who you are! We recommend bringing one formal outfit, and one casual outfit. If we are going to a specific location, you may consider attire that is fitting for that setting. For instance, if we are heading to a memorial in D.C., formal wear would look beautiful against that backdrop!
3. We schedule our engagement sessions according to when we will have the best sunlight. This occurs the
first two hours the sun is up, and the two hours right before the sun sets. Our engagement sessions are about one and a half to two hours long, which allows us to explore the location of your choice, and time to change outfits for more variation.
4. We encourage our couples to get creative, and would love to collaborate with you to make your session unique. If you have props that would express your story, feel free to bring them!
We love to get to know all of our couples so we can feel like old friends when we arrive on your wedding day!
